I grew up in Los Angeles, falling asleep to the voices of Phil Hendrie under my pillow—completely mesmerized by how a voice alone could create entire worlds. That fascination never left me. Over the years, I explored sound in different ways—rapping and producing music, working in my father’s gourmet sausage restaurant (yes, I can tell you what makes a great bratwurst), and even teaching English as a second language abroad.
