“You’re trying to become a voice actor now? Aren’t you scared of AI?”
Yes, the voiceover world is buzzing with uncertainty around AI.
But honestly, I don’t have another option.
This is the one path I’ve found (so far) that actually speaks to my natural talents and interests.
When I realized I could build a career in voiceover, my first thought was: “Where have I been the past 10 years?”
Sure, maybe it would’ve been easier to start 5–10 years ago.
But I didn’t.
I’m starting now.
We don’t know what voiceover will look like in 1, 3, or 5 years- but then again, we don’t know what any industry will look like.
At the end of the day, all you can do is work with the tools you have, where you are, right now.
So yes, I’m scared of a lot of things.
But I’m making one thing scarier than anything else:
Holding back, freezing up, and not taking action.
